TIPS FOR REDUCING HOT FLUSHES/ NIGHT SWEATS:
- Cut out or reduce tea and coffee
- Stop smoking
- Keep the room cool
- Wear looser layers of lighter clothing
- Have layers of sheets on the bed rather than a heavy duvet
- Reduce alcohol intake
- Have a luke warm shower rather than hot baths
Some some supermarkets supply their own Menopause supplements but it is important that you check with your GP before you start taking any natural medicines as they can interfere with medication already prescribed .
SOME HERBAL TEAS THAT MAY HELP WITH THE ABOVE:
- Black cohosh root
- Red raspberry leaf
- Green tea
Again check with your GP before hand as these can effect prescription medication.
